Beaver Valley Power Station’s Annual Siren Test will take place on Thursday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m. This is only a test.
The test – a steady, three-minute siren tone – will include the large pole-mounted siren. This test is performed as a federal requirement to ensure the sirens in the ten-mile radius around Beaver Valley Power Station are working properly.
If you hear the siren on September 12th at 11:00 a.m., you do not need to respond.
